A Harvest that Lasts Forever

Anna was one of the very first people in her community to open her home for a discipleship cluster. She had been widowed since her late twenties, and was still raising her children on her own.

When the discipleship group began meeting in her home, it quickly became much more than a Bible study. Anna shared, "It became my source of strength, encouragement, and belonging,"

In time, Anna also joined our farming program and faithfully applied the training she received. As her harvests increased, so did her opportunities. The additional income enabled her to provide her children with an education, purchase a cow that has since produced a calf, and build a more secure future for her family.

Yet the greatest harvest wasn't found in her fields. "One thing I have learned," Anna said, "is that God is greater than anything else. I have learned how to forgive and love people. I am careful with my words now because I want my life to honor Him."

Anna's story reminds us that lasting transformation happens when practical help and the truth of God's Word go hand in hand. Better farming techniques provide food, education, and financial stability. Discipleship changes hearts, restores relationships, and draws people closer to Christ.

That is the harvest we pray for . . . not only fields that produce more grain, but lives that bear fruit for eternity.
