Harriet has been a part of the EWT child sponsorship program since 2015, when she was found to be in the sole custody of her 18-year-old brother. She continues to live with her brother and his wife, who are now committed followers of Jesus. The whole family has been blessed through her sponsorship, and through them joining the EWT Discipleship Program.
Harriet is now in Secondary 1 at Angelika School, where she is a committed student and a hard-working girl, both at home and in school. Unfortunately, Harriet’s long-time sponsors, who were both elderly, passed away within months of each other, and now she is without assistance for her education. Though there have been tremendous improvements in her home life, she still needs support to continue her studies.
Harriet is responsible, caring, and sensitive to the needs of others, as well as outgoing and driven. Her social worker describes her as “an outstanding girl with a heart for the Lord.” Your care will be a cause of great celebration and will serve as a reminder of God’s love and help.
