When Solomon joined Jireh Children’s Home, he came from a desperate situation in which he was so malnourished he appeared to be years younger than he actually was. He is the youngest of five in a family that has been child-run since their mother’s death. The children in this family had to dig in other people’s gardens to find something to eat, and some days they went without eating anything at all.
Growing up without parents, Solomon was very attached to his oldest sister and went through a difficult adjustment period being separated from her. But he is now acclimating to life at JCH and has access to education, healthy meals, and proper medical attention. You will be showing both the love of earthly parents and his heavenly Father by supporting Solomon as he grows.
