Solomon’s father, Peter, was a man after God’s heart, who was dedicated to his work as a pastor and EWT discipleship facilitator. He was responsible for growing our programs in his community, where the fruit of his work was astounding. Thousands were attending weekly discipleship meetings, and countless lives were changed. Tragically, Peter contracted Hepatitis B in 2015 and passed away before anyone realized how serious the illness was. He left behind ten children and a wife who suffered from medical conditions that were both chronic and severe.
As the body of Christ, we are committed to helping this family who has been a bright shining light to Jesus. It is our privilege to stand with Peter’s wife, Sarah, and to send three of her children to school. One of these children is Solomon, who has been a part of our Child Sponsorship Program since he was eight years old. He is an intelligent boy who is full of kindness, who also shows strong leadership potential that reminds us a great deal of his father.
Solomon is now in Secondary 3 at COTN where he continues to work hard in school. Circumstances have recently left Solomon in need of another sponsor, and we are praying for someone to stand in the gap for him. Your sponsorship will fill Solomon and his family with joy and will equip him to continue an extraordinary legacy.
