Malliam is the youngest of five children in a family from Northern Uganda. Her mother, Helen, was once married to a man who abruptly abandoned the family, forcing Helen and the children to move into her parents’ home. Circumstances have been difficult for many years, but Helen has faithfully done her best to raise her children single-handedly.
Thankfully, their future is no longer bound by the difficult circumstances they come from. Malliam was selected for the Child Sponsorship Program in 2018, and her sponsorship has brought incredible change for the entire family. She is a joyful girl who works hard both at school and at home to help her mother. She attends church every Sunday and is actively involved in music, dance, and drama. She especially enjoys hands-on activities.
Recently, Malliam transitioned to a new school that requires a boarding sponsor to stand alongside her education sponsor. Your sponsorship will not only allow her to continue her education; it will also serve as a renewed reminder that God sees this family’s needs and that He will continue to make a way for them.
