Innocent Otulu
Sex: Male
Grade: Secondary 3 (2025)
Location: Akalo
Sponsorship Need: Boarding
Innocent has grown up living with his mother and older brother in a remote village in Northern Uganda where they were forced to rely on agriculture that is frequently unreliable - both to feed themselves and to make any income. His father died when he was just four, and his mother, Molly, has long suffered from HIV/AIDS. The treatments left her incredibly weak, but she worked long hours in her garden trying to provide for her family, often going without food herself. Both of her elder daughters took husbands before they reached the age of eighteen because they felt they had no other option for support.
Innocent has been in our Child Sponsorship Program since he was eight years old in primary school. Now he is thriving, working his way through his secondary years. His sponsorship has been a blessing to Molly - offering her help, encouragement, and hope for a better future. We praise God for all He has done and all He continues to do in and through Innocent’s life.
As Innocent moves up in school, he needs a second sponsor to support higher costs of tuition and boarding fees. We are praying for someone to soon stand in the gap for him. Your sponsorship will offer renewed confidence and love to a mother who so desperately wants the best for her son.
Innocent needs a boarding sponsor for $35/month.
